Upcoming Fairs

If you live in the South West, here are some fun fairs and markets on the horizon to whet your crafty, vintage appetites ...

Shepton Mallet Flea Market
17th July

This gigantic flea market is mecca for the vintage magpie and well worth the trip. Open from 9.30am until 4pm and costing £3 to enter, there are hundreds of stalls alongside refreshment stands. Take cash as there are no cash points near by.

Bath Vintage & Antiques Market
31st July

Imagine my delight when I found out that Bath's Green Park Station will now be hosting a monthly Vintage and Antiques Market. Whoop whoop. The next one is on 31st July from 9.30am until 4pm, but unfortunately I don't think I'll be able to get along to that. Ah well, they're going to be held on the last Sunday of each month.

Frome Flea and Artisan Market
7th August

A double whammy of markets in the lovely town of Frome, with craft and food stalls lining the cobbles of St Catherine's Hill and vintage vendors on the Cheese and Grain car park. A lovely way to spend a Sunday, the markets run from 9.30am until 2pm, and can highly recommend lunch in the Black Swan Arts Cafe.

Vintage & Handmade Jumble Sale
13th August in Rangeworthy

The lovely ladies behind the fab Vintage and Handmade Fairs at Chipping Sodbury Town Hall are hosting a vintage jumble sale at Rangeworthy Village Hall. It's on from 10.30am until 2pm, free to get in, and the WI will be serving tea.
