Pregnancy Pampering

It's almost time for Baby Boy Biddle to pop out, and so my Mum and Sister came down to spend a couple of girly days with me and my bowling ball tummy. For my birthday, I was treated to Afternoon Tea at the Royal Crescent Hotel in Bath by Brother & Sister-In-Law Biddle. So yesterday we waddled up to the semi-circle of Georgian gorgeousness for a cream overload.

Hidden behind the majestic crescent frontage, the hotel has a beautiful, secluded garden but unfortunately it was a bit too blustery for us to sit outside.

The Afternoon Tea was delicious. The food was excellent and we had our first taste of Bath Buns. Absolutely yummy, they were light and lemony, and we loaded them up with gloopy clotted cream and fresh jam.

There was no way our stomachs could fit in all of that sugar and loveliness, so like the uncouth Northerners we are, we took a mound of cakes home with us in a doggy bag! Many thanks to our fellow Mr & Mrs Biddle for their thoughtful gift.
